RAISE BTS

RAISE BTS (Bug Tracking System) - software bug tracking system for small- and middle-scale developer sites - this standard "client-server" application is the Microsoft SQL Server 7.0-2000 -based solution targeting code development phase support for software manufacturing process.

The following workplaces are implemented in the system:

- project manager; - tester; - software developer; - system administrator.

Testers and software developers work here in close connection continuously exchanging information on bugs found and debugged in the code examined under project manger's control. Tester workplace provides for bug report creation and tracking capabilities. Project manager's functionality involves bug reports review (flexible search and view customization facilities) and sending them in to developers. The operation scheme implemented stipulates for bug report creation and further three-tiered continuous update and analysis until the bug is ultimately fixed. Data security issues are addressed at SQL Server level ensuring high privacy standards. The RAISE BTS instance is successfully used in the Team's internal manufacturing process.
